When I was a kid, I was a big fan of Transformers. My sister was a fan of G.I.Joe, and often times, I had to sit thru a showing of the G.I. Joe cartoon before I could watch my stuff.

Truth be told, I didn’t intend for this picture to come out like this. It was supposed to be a drawing of an altar boy holding a communion cup and a bowl of communion wafers. The object was a silver statue, but I could barely make out the facial features. So I got frustrated, and well, here he is, Cobra Commander as a Catholic altar boy. My painting teacher, Ms. Casteel, wasn’t too happy with the result, and my fellow classmates didn’t get the joke. They were babies when the G.I. Joe cartoon was popular.

Little wonder why Cobra joined the dark side…
